New Instal – Pages Are Not Showing Up

    I had a development site that I just made live via myPhpAdmin. The installation seems to have worked correctely. My custom theme is uploaded. I only have one page a home.php page and although it is in my files it is not showing up in my theme. Also, I have a gravity forms plugin – the plugin is there, but the form I created is not. I deleted the index.html file – no change. I know my image path names are incorrect, they are still loading from the development server – I need to change those. But I can not figure out why it is not seeing the home.php or the gravity forms I created. I DO NOT have a .htaccess file, unclear if I need this. It seems that all our sites do not have this. Any help would be appreciated.

    I followed some directions ~ I made my database – uploaded my wordpress installation files and all theme and plugin files. Looking in myPhpAdmin in the options table all the settings look correct. I’ve edited my wp-config file – I believe all the settings are correct there. Like I said the installation appears to have gone well. I can log into the dashboard, the theme is there and uploads. It is just not showing the 1 page (home page template) I created and it is not showing the gravity forms I created, although the plugin is there and appears to be functioning properly.

    The page it is showing as my homepage on my new site – Is my homepage on my development site. Hope this makes sense.

    No – it doesn’t, I’m afraid. What changes did you make to your site’s database to make it “live”? What was its development url? What is its live url?

    check it in the phpmyadmin and update to new url.

    The new url is updated….I’ve compared the myPhpAdmin settings to another live site we have that is functioning properly and all the settings in the options table appear to be changed and exactly as they should be. Obviously I’m missing something – just can’t figure out what it is.

    I can make a new page and use that template file – but when you preview it – it is actually seeing the template file from the development site not the new site.

    OK – I’ll try just once more..

    Exactly what changes did you make to your site’s database to make it “live”?
    What was its development url?
    What is its live url?

    I don’t believe I had to make any changes in the database to make it live. I uploaded all my site files via ftp into the content folder. When I logged into myPhpAdmin for that site and went to the options table all the settings were there and correct. The correct url, site name. under option_name in the home table it says https://918personalinjury.com. All the settings that I know to check look correct. But it is still seeing the files from the development site and not the live site. Quite perplexed.

    Move everything back the way it was before you started making the site live. Then review Moving_WordPress.
