Date View Dropdown

  • I couldn’t find anything about this on the forums, so I decided to see if anyone else has had this problem and/or knows how to fix it.
    Problem: After posting a few old weblog entries, with the timestamps editted, the dropdown for the dates view shows some weird dates that do not correspond with anything I posted. Currently, my dropdown shows 7 occurrences of “2006/02/08” and one “2005/04/30”. The entries that I posted were for “2002/04/12” and other dates shortly after that.
    Before I continue on with this, I want to clear up the confusion on the dropdown date view. How can I fix this? (FYI, I changed the name of the directory where wordpress is located and the paths to it, under Options. Did I need to change anything in mySQL and could this be affecting the date dropdown?)

    I ran a search through mySQL and I couldn’t find either “2004”, “2005”, or “2006”. Where are these dates in my dropdown stored and why are they there? More importantly, how do I get rid of them and have them replaced with valid dates from existing entries?
