• Installed Duplicator plugin and trying to create the package. Seems to accept the command, indicates that it will be 13.77MB and goes back to saying “Ready to create package” within 1-2 minutes but no package seems to have been created. Refresh the page and it still says no packages found. However, in the httpdocs/wp-snapshots directory there is a file that starts with the name I provided but it is only 4.00KB. System is with a hosting provider. Below is the result of server checks. Don’t know if the issues listed in server checks are preventing me from getting this done or if I am missing something else. Thanks for any help.

    SERVER CHECKS
    PHP Version: 5.1.6 [-1]
    Web Server: Not detected [-1]
    Safe Mode: Off [1]
Open Base Dir: Enabled [0] (contact your host to temporarily disable)
Compression: Not installed [-1](ZipArchive extension required for compression)

  • Hi. Did you have any luck fixing this issue? I am having the same experience.

I am running the latest WordPress 3.3.2. – all plugins are up to date, permissions are set correctly on the wp-snapshots folder, increased time and memory allocation, server checks out as compatible (PHP version is 5.2.17) etc. – I can’t find anything out of the ordinary.
I’ve used Duplicator successfully on all of my previous installs and love the product – but in this case it just won’t create any packages (at least won’t show completed packages in the Duplicator window). It does however show the partial (4.00KB) files in the wp-snapshots folder.
    Any suggestions or ideas?
    Thanks!!
