Site crashes in IE

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hi,
    I deactivated all plugins as a first point of troubleshooting, nothing changed.

    Good suggestion, switching to the default theme stopped the IE crashes, the crash logs didnt really give much away

    Ive narrowed it down to the background image, as removing this allows the site to be accessed without any crashes etc, Ill update to confirm if this solves the issue
