Direct access to site not working, some search links do

I manually installed WP; hosting via 000webhost.com

Can access the admin page on wordpress, and view site displays properly.
Typing https://www.rantravewrite.com into either FFox/Explorer results in an error – site not found

But if I search it and click on the link I am able to open and read the site from a link to either the homepage or the About me page.

Links to individual posts do not display.

tried adjusting the URL and SiteUrl – no change

This is the second install today – the first one opened an index page first, then granted full posting access, so I took it down and started over thinking I goofed the install.

Totally new at all of this so if you can use small words and speak slowly!
