SQL import kills login page

  • I am moving a blog. When I install to new location the login page works. When I import a SQL file into the database, the WP dashboard bumps me off and tells me to login again. But the login page is not there afterwards. I wonder if I need to omit one of the tables from the import.The database has the following tables (all stating _wp).
    commentmeta, comments,links, options, postmeta, posts, terms, term_relationships, term_taxonomy, usermeta, users
    Or does the solution lie elsewhere?
