themes uploaded to /theme do not show

Hi,

Using multisite, I’d like to have the same theme for each website. For that, I renamed the folder and edited the style.css file. I then uploaded the folder into my /theme but it doesn’t show in the ‘manage theme interface’. I then tried to load several free themes into the /theme on the server but still nothing. The only themes I can see are the ones I loaded before editing my wordpress installation to multisite.

Is there something I’m missing?
