[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] nextGen Menu not fully showing

Please could someone help me regain my sanity.

I have loaded NextGEN on a wp blog and all works well.
I am now trying to install it on another blog (different domain) and all I get in the Gallery menu on the left is Roles, reset/uninstal

I am using the latest version NextGen
I am using the latest version Wp
I am using the same Template on both (Suffusion)
I have unistalled and reinstalled it twice.

I may have done something wrong or their maybe a conflict with some other plug in.

I have searched and read every possible topic I can find, and only found one that had this exact issue with no answer.

I have spent many hours looking and now I stand with a begging bowl, please could someone throw some light on this.
