403 via Google Image Search

I’ve always wondered why I was getting so many 403 hits in my Awestats, and just now I realized that it happens when people (maybe not all?)try to view full-size images from my blog from Google Image. While I certainly don’t want people snooping around my site directory, it’s kind of a drag not having more substantial traffic.

You can image search Owl Feathers Inc and the first couple results should be mine (they’re going to be figure sketches).

Is there some setting or code I’ve missed?
