[Plugin: Events Manager] Bulk Import Event Upload

we don’t have any import features atm but we’re planning on adding an ical importer soon. csv will probably not come along for a while.

I’m working for a NGO offering no-charge tickets for theatre, concerts and so on for people with low income. We want to implement a calendar on our website which shows all the events with free entry in one city – and serendipitously these are a lot.

So is there any possibility to import e.g. Excel tables or something else to Events Manager?

I can’t understand that this function hasn’t been developped yet…
I think (may be I’m wrong !) that a lot of EM users have thousands of events to edit…
I believe in miracles… !

Yes we would love to use this but an upload systen would be essential, typing it in for so many clients is a real pain.

it won’t be a xmas miracle, but we’ll get there eventually

You mentioned previously that “no eta atm, but given it’s a popular request we’ll be looking into this asap” – can I just ask whether you think we are talking days, weeks, months or years? Sorry to press you for more of a clue but I am just trying to work out a plan for my business….also, I guess there would need to be a simple upload for venues in a file (sorry,. locations) with their address details first as I don;t think one could have them stored in the ical file for each event before it is uploaded? Then a manual job to link them??!

I’ve tried a lot of mass import plugins and I can tell that WP Ultimate CSV Importer works great to bulk import events !
If this can save time to everybody… ??
