Changing wordpress MYSQL database with subdomain

  • I would like to know if it is possible to change MYSQL database with different subdomains.

    For example en.website.com it would load english database
    For ger.website.com it would load german database
    Why?
    Because i would like to have php and theme source files on one place and while changing one thing, it would change everywhere.

    I know basics of PHP i am just not sure if there is any function that would be able to read subdomain for if clause decision when reading MYSQL config.

    I think i found it…
    “Create A Network” seems like exactly the thing i am looking for.
