Mixed Content Type, Including X-rated

Hello, Folks,

I use WordPress for my blog, and I’m really surprised how limited the software is. Here is what I want to do: within 1 blog, have each Page behave like the Home page. What I mean is: each entry I make at Home gets a header, a date and is searchable. But, if I make a new page, it gets one header, and anything I add is just treated like more of that same entry. What? Why doesn’t a new page mimic the functionality of the Home page?

Here is why I want this: I have some writing that is rated G and some that is rated X. I obviously do not want these two types of content together. It doesn’t even help to have Categories, as you still just have one long home page with all content shown together.

I was considering using WordPress for my whole site, but this incredibly lame blog functionality is holding me back. I could make an HTML page that would do what I want. WordPress can’t?
