I’m using WP for a group of teachers to share lesson files and discuss materials development at my university.

One guy uploaded a file, then as near as I can tell, he must have copied and pasted the HTML for the link into the Title, not the Body of the post. The Post is listed as a Draft, but links to the file and clicking on it starts the download.

So, there is no way for him to publish or delete it. Even logged in as Admin, I can see it in “Other’s Drafts”, but not in the list of posts to be edited or deleted.

Is there anyway to eliminate this pesky thing? I suspect I have to directly work on the MySQL database, not something I’m at all confident or experienced in doing.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks
