Buddypress register.php code

Hello,

I am having trouble with the register page once a user clicks on it. Once a new user clicks “create an account to get started” the page goes blank. I was in the back end the other day and I thought I might change a wording in a code and it went wrong. I put the code back to what it originally was but I still don’t know what happened. This was in dashboard>appearance>editor, scroll down to register.php and in this code:

<p><?php _e( ‘Registering for this site is easy, just fill out the form and you’ll have an account set up in no time.’, ‘buddypress’ ); ?></p>

If someone could help me I’d really appreciate it!
