[Plugin: Mailing List] Nothing appears in Admin

  • I installed and activated the plugin on a hosted WP install. I clicked on Mailing Lists in the Admin dashboard. Other than an ad asking to rate the plugin, there is nothing else. Just white space. I click on integration which shows info on an API key but no documentation or explanation as to what this is for or why it is needed. As there is no documentation for this plugin, and the author says simply “install it and use its, its pretty easy”, I have to assume its broken and/or doesn’t work.

    It is likely that you have an issue connecting to our servers from the plugin. Please check out the Zingiri Forums for similar issues.

    I looked through the forums and didn’t see any thread that relates to my problem. Al ink would be helpful.

    But the bigger question is why am I connecting to YOUR server? When dealing with personal data (email addresses etc.) Its not a good idea to be connecting to external servers.

    The solution is a SaaS offering (software as a service).
    You can find out more about the Zingiri SaaS products here (albeit it’s for a different product, the same applies).
    If you’re not comfortable with this set up then maybe the solution is not right for you.
