Ok if I add pages in Front-end management pages

All is good, maybe a fix for people don’t want to create this pages ?

yes, but I think it’s not good to change my slug for my forums. ^^

I just want to notice that if, in envent manager – Front-end management pages, the 3 pages/options are empty bbpress disapear

After I create 3 pages and link then in “Front-end management pages ” all works good .

I think they are something wrong with bbpress or “event manager” I don’t know. ^^

I’m not enough good to resolve it but if I can help is good ??

    Thx a lot agelonwl !

Maybe I have to give more informations ^^
(I’m french excuse bad english )

in bbpres config slug archive :

    "Archiver les identifiants
    Base de forums	: forums
    Base des sujets	: sujets"

    I have a “page” named : “Forums”
in this page I have some shortcode (bbpress shortcode) like

    [bbp-single-forum id=44]
    [bbp-single-forum id=540]
    [bbp-single-forum id=530]

    Differents case:
**If I delete my page ‘Forums’ so wordpress use orignal page forum : it works, but don’t have my spécifique page with shortcode
**if I change slug “forums” to “fourms2” : it works but it is not my page “Forums” it’s orignal bbpress page.
**if I configure “Front-end management pages” and create the 3 pages : all it works

So , I think there is a prob with shortcode bbpress ?

hope I m clear and excuse me for bad english

hi nirzol, makes sense now (I think!), will test this out and get back to you.

I’ve tested this out again, and no matter what settings I use, it works for me. of course, if you use conflicting slugs, there will be trouble, but the default slugs don’t conflict at all for me.

have you tested it with the default bbpress theme?

    Thread Starter nirzol

    (@nirzol)

    Ok thx.

No I use an elegant theme with buddypress, bbpress (general forum and group forum enable, the two method is enable)
And I set a page for “Discussion Forums”

Perhaps it’s an other plugin I use. I don’t know.

I’ve just test , in Front-end management pages , I put [Aucun](i think in english is [none]) for 3 options, my forums page disapear.

As you said, slug conflict. if I put forums2 for slug in bbpress config, and create page with title= forums2 and put my shortcode in this page the problem appear.
MAybe it s a bbpres issue too.

    Thx for all Marcus, ??

i guess if we can get it to work one way, we can leave for now ??

    (@nirzol)

    Yes I think so ??
Just for remember for others peoples don’t want read all posts ^^

if I configure Front-end management pages all is good :)

    Thx for all ??
