• So i’ve been following the forums and codex to create my own theme for my blog. It’s the first time I work with code, but I’ve managed to get almost everything done.

In Safari/Chrome, there are a couple CSS problems I don’t know how to fix. If you check my site on firefox, werefans you’ll see the “G” for google+ where it has to be, but on safari/chrome, it is lower. It also happens with the search box, which is overlapping the background image

Any ideas why this happens? Should I upload my code so you can check it? Thanks a lot!!

  • Look in your style.css body tag at the line-height.

You assign a line-height to all elements in the body with that call. Try removing it, see the difference, and taking that line-height and only applying it where you need it in the paragraphs, headers, etc.

I removed the line height but nothing changed. Any ideas why it is happening just in safari and chrome?

I’m seeing some enormous validation issues with your site – things that should be in the head are showing up in the body. Try fixing that first.
