help with theme!

Hello all,

I’m pretty new to wordpress and have been trying to get my head around it. I have a hit a bit of a wall and wondered if anyone could help and advise me on the following (forgive me if this is not he correct place for this post!)

I would like to add some information boxes into my site but am not sure on how I go about doing so, for example take a look at:

the three boxes with rollovers and the long registration button under it, Im trying to figure out how I would be able to do the same on my site and position roughly the same space:

https://www.bloomcouture.co.uk

Is there a typical name for these info boxes? is there a plugin which could handle this?
