I'm Installing WordPress on a Rackspace Server. Is there a “Best” Linux Install

    Would like to try my hand at sysadmin for my personal site…

    There are several versions of each of the below, these are just the most recent…

    Gentoo 11.0

    OpenSUSE 12.1

    Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1

    Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot)

    Fedora 16 (Verne)

    Debian 6.0 (Squeeze)

    CentOS 6.0

    Arch 2011.10

    Ideas suggestions?

    CentOS would be good. I personally recommend CentOS.

    Thank you! I’ve worked with LAMP quite a bit… but never had to install it. I never knew how many there are. Do you know where I can read up on the differences, why I would choose one over another. I know some are just free versions of corporate versions etc. But yikes…
