Desparate MIMBO 3.0 starter can't get image in homepage/featured post

  • Hi everybody I′m Al and I am new to this forum.

    I discovered MIMBO 3.0 yesterday, I do have some experience with WordPress but this issue is a real headache that already cost me a day, but it might be peanuts for other users who went trough it.

    On the MIMBO 3.0 showpage screenshot there’s an image in the Featured Post (with grey background) but it appears real problematic to figure out how to get the picture there. Via FTP I’ve set ‘0777’ permissions, what else can I do ?

    MIMBO theme was love at first sight, seriously I don’t want another one. Hopefully someone can help me out.

    In short, how do I get the picture in the (grey background) featured post. My webproject is https://bit.ly/Alajp6
