• I am really quite new to blogging and have a small site with about 15 posts and 10 comments on it. Recently I have started to get what look like proper blog posts as comments to articles on my site. They look like a human has written them, and seem to be relying to other peoples comments.

I don’t know where they are coming from, except in the backend there is a link to a facebook page.

Anybody got any ideas what’s going on and what I can do about it. Its kinda sad because I thought things were beginning to take off a bit…

Just had a post come in for this thread https://www.maxelcat.co.uk/2012/02/wtc-residentail-highlights/ which is about being a dance teacher! It looks human – I haven’t approved it.

I have noticed that in the first line there seems to be a nonsense word on all the weird posts – like its getting screwed up somewhere.

    Here it is

Dear Tahira,I hold a degree in English and a TEFL ctriiftcaee. I am a qualified IDTA Dance teacher and have been working in primary schools for 4 years. I was about to apply for a PGCE in Drama but when I auditioned for a job, the employer informed me that the company offered PGDip in Performing Arts, which sound more than perfect; but I am now confused. Though I love working in primary schools, would the PGDip allow me to also teach in secondary schools, college or even university? I am aware the PGCE only focusing on one subject, but I feel the PGCE is far much recognized and offer great teaching methods. That will be fantastic if you could help me see the light.Best regards,

I just emailed this person back – and the email has bounced back…

Also, a couple of the others had facebook pages so I followed those links – and they look suspicious https://en-gb.facebook.com/people/Syabonga-Eric/100003405553014

    any ideas very greatfully received

I gotta say this looking more and more suspicious.

Are you using askimet? Capcha can be defeated.

You can also set wp under dashboard settings to not accept certain words, ip’s etc.
