• When I click on my RSS feed (www.eco-info.net) I get the following error message:

    This feed contains code errors.
    Invalid xml declaration.
    Line: 2 Character: 3
    <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>

    I know nothing about code and have no idea where or how to fix this error.
    Please help this newbie.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I took a look at your website. The problem is that your blog is inserting a blank line before the XML declaration. I had the same problem on my blog. This website explains the fix that worked for me.
