I am creating a new WordPress site. It will be used only for employees of a particular company.

I want them to go to the site, and log in. Once, they have done that, a moderator will confirm that they are in-fact company employees, and will validate them to a level of “confirmed” employee.

I want most of my site visible to “confirmed” employees only.

How do I make the site home page visible to anyone to log in, but limit the rest of it to “confirmed” employees only?

    Thanks.

    JIM

You’ll probably bennifit from a membership plugin which allows varied options for site access. Check out S2Memeber.

Otherwise, you can make private pages which require a password (default in wp) , regardless of user role.

These pages can be restricted, even if a user is logged in.
