How do you shorten blog post displayed?

  • I’m using the Twenty Eleven theme. How do I shorten the amount of text displayed so that its just a picture and a paragraph of my post. Then when the user clicks on the post they are taken to the post to see it in its entirety. Does this theme have that option?
