Can you register members while site is under construction? Urgently need help.

Hi,

i’m trying to create a database for the launch of the site, Is there a way of letting people register for a site while its still under construction?

I’m using simple coming soon.. plugin at the moment for maintenance work but i need some thing that can go up in the next few hours without having to take the whole site down to create a holding page.

If anyone can help, i would be every so grateful.
