Is it possible to have more than one blog on a static site

You could also just have one blog and post your articles in two different categories. That’s also another option.

so how would I be able to separate the two? i.e. One blog is current events and the other is about product, what I want to do is place a link into the sidebar so readers can see that particular blog.

The Blog In Blog plugin takes care of all that for you. It basically lets you assign categories to posts and then separates them into their own pages.

You don’t need a plugin for that. When you set up your navigation, just set up a custom menu and insert one category in one tab and then the other in a another tab. That’s it.

Then, how do you exclude the categories from the main blog? The plugin takes care of that, too.

@spacejamz didn’t mention anywhere that he wanted a main blog link… so if he doesn’t want that and just wants two category links, there’s no need for the plugin.
