    Hi Jaap.

I am using a number of TopTen widgets as Top-3 widgets in my sitebar. Works great.
Now I would like to have multiple album Top-10’s displayed on a page.

Would something like that be possible, either as modified/parameterized widgets in a page-widget-area, or by using PHP and/or HTML code in a page ?
    Thanks,

P.s. I have the PHP Execution plugin installed.

I could make an easy to use interface for a topten selective display.

    Something like %%wppa%% %%topten=[album_id]%%

(You know that you can have multiple instances of %%wppa%%…. on a single page/post?)

    Would that be helpfull?

This would be great if however it would also be possible to assign the number of photo’s in a specific album TOP-display.

I am now using four, Top-3 site-bar widgets due to space limitations.
I want to use the Top-10 (actually using 10 or even more photo’s) selective display, separate from the widgets and setting.

And yes, I am already using multiple top-ten widgets.

Ok, i am working on it…

    Thanks Jaap.

I realize that my use of the album is (very) alternative and may not be what was initially intended. I come across these requirements while time progresses. Nonetheless it will also make WPPA even more versatile.

    Appreciate your swift response.

    You had a bright idea.
The syntax is a little different as i suggested before.
You know there are keywords like %%photo=#last%% and %%album=#last%% and %%photo=#potd%% ?

    Ok, to get the topten:

    %%wppa%% %%album=#topten[,album[,maxcount]]%%
    or
    %%wppa%% %%slide=#topten[,album[,maxcount]]%%
although %%cover=#topten%% is syntactically correct, it will give no results

    (album and maxcount are optional)

See example: post on my wppa betatest site

Pls notify when you have seen this, so i can damage it if required.

    You know there are keywords

No I did not … and yes, I did look into the documentation on your site !

Looking at the examples on your Beta side this is doing what I was looking for.
To get closer to the “widget look” would it be possible to suppress the Breadcrumb display on an album basis e.g. with a (minus)keyword or something ?

There will be additional 2 switches, to disable breadcrumb on search results pages and on topten displays. (Table II-1a and 1b)

Version 4.3.11 is in a beta release available. It will have the feature you requested for.
Please read the changelog and instructions first.

Just installed 4.3.11 and all is well.
The tests I ran are okay, including the Top-10 album display’s

    See lower home-page: https://www.whiskydesignaward.com/

This uses the Thumbnail size from settings.
As I had the Top-10 photo size in mind, is ii possible to override the size ?
I tried %%size=6o%% but (as expected) that gets ignored.
The latter is no big deal, I can live with this, but if possible I would like to know how.

    Thanks again.

    Slightly Beta related question ?

In the Slide-show widget I selected a Parent Album that has no photos but only child-albums.
I would have expected all photos in the parent and all child-albums to be displayed but I do not see any. Is that as designed ?

    He Jaap, something strange.

On my homepage the Top-10 Albums each display 2 rows of 5 photo’s.
However when I go to a slide show of any of the upper 4 Albums then de Top-10 Albums get smaller and show 3 rows of 4.

    Any suggestions ?
    Tnx,

    This is “solved”.
I now realized it is not the photo size but the Album width. Adding this %%size=700%% does the job.

The above Thumbnail question is still valid.
    Thanks,

    Really nice this feature Jaap.

Perfectly fits the concept (of my site) now !

Thanks again and enjoy your weekend, Piet

You see always only the thumbs of the album you are looking at (if any) (and/or the covers of the subalbums)
