  • Hi there, thanks a lot for the heads up on this, we are keen on getting this fixed and have the Pinterest button working properly in a future release, I will keep you in the loop! ??

I have the same issue. Please solve…

    Hello!

Is there an ETA for fixing this? As mentioned by other users, the button doesn’t function correctly — when the button is clicked, it opens up another small window, but there’s no image that can be clicked and posted to Pinterest. You can take a look at a post on my site to see what’s happening.

    Thanks for your help!

    Pam

Would love to see this fixed as well! Thanks so much!!

No counter is shown. Just updated to the latest version. No change.

I’ve updated to the latest version, too, and the counter doesn’t work. When I click on the button, a Pinterest window opens but there’s no way to select an image to pin.

    Hey guys,

Thanks a lot for all the kind shouts here. I have great news, we have just pushed an update in the latest version so your Pinterest button also pulls an image.

Here is a HOW TO guide on it: https://blog.bufferapp.com/how-to-add-the-pinterest-pin-it-button-to-your-blog-and-let-people-pin-posts-with-pictures

Hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions or would like to see any more cool things in Digg Digg. Would love to hear your ideas! ??

Thanks for the update. I definitely have featured images set for my posts but the pop-up is still not pulling the image.

It is pulling the correct title now but I tried pinning an article and after hitting Pin it, the popup looks like it’s doing something but remains open and the title (text in the entry field) disappears. And the pin hasn’t shown up the board.

You can have a look at https://danceadvantage.net

I’m using Firefox browser, have not tried on others.

this will pull the first image of the post if thumb is not available

replace the “DD_Pinterest” class in digg-digg\include\dd-class.php with following code:
