• Hi guys,

I’m new to the forum but thought I would take the chance to see what you guys thought of the new video game blog I have created. On it I post news articles, reviews and we now have a weekly podcast as well as some cool videos. I have just this minute uploaded our latest gaming podcast so check it out.

I’m also on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube too which can be reached on the blog ??

So yeah any feedback or preferences as to what you’d like to see in the future would be great.

I’ll try and keep this thread updated with new updates I add on the blog.

    Thanks guys.

Any views on the content? Is it any good?

You got great content, I just think the twitter widget and tags widget is a bit much, but guess I can’t say much because my gaming blog at [link removed – please post your own review topic] needs some updating too as far as layout.

Hey you have the same theme I”m using.
I don’t think the twitter widget is too much. I think it adds a level of interactivity or at least the appearance of “connectivity” with the website to people.
I’m still, personally, undecided on the tags widget myself and I’m not sure how it’s perceived by the regular person out there. You could try a category drop down box instead if you are unsure about it yourself..that might let people find things easier.

On the bottom, you might want to change your default “links” to a blogroll..because right now you have links to the default junk links (imo) that just advertise www.remarpro.com and nothing to do with your website itself.

I really like the website. The content is well written and the layout is very nice. The only thing I would say is… pick a color scheme and try to stick to it. Branding is very important and color is a major part of it. Overall the site is very well put together.

If you are looking for some opinionated content… my site has a few gaming comics and blogs on it… it is just opinions.. no real news or anything. Search Time To Rant and you will find it. I currently have a comic up about respawning.
