My title tags keep saying Uncategorized |

  • My title tags keep saying this at the starting of every page

    Uncategorized |

    I don’t have a category called Uncategorized

    My SEO plugin says Uncategorized NO WHERE

    My posts don’t have Uncategorized in it

    My pages don’t say Uncategorized

    FYI – This is how the theme has been since I installed it.

    Yeah but, Unathorized is not listed as a category ??

    I understand your frustration. Maybe check if the SEO plugin is rendering a category as part of your title tag. Uncategorized is the default category so it may be that if a category is unassigned that it is using the default. Hope that gives you a lead!
