Also happening with Elegant Themes built in contact page…

I do not see that with Grunion (which is the contact form I use), so I can only guess you set up the form wrong.

I installed Grunion, and I still get the following. It should not be showing “myprimarydomain.ca”, it should instead show “mynetworkedsiteurl.com”.
Any thoughts?

If that’s from your server, it can’t be helped.

Not sure what you mean, where in the email. The very top line?
So, if it is from my server, then all my client site’s contact forms will show as being from my primary domain?

Where in the EMAIL is that from?

I mean is that in the BODY of the email, the header?

Okay, the email HEADERS are sent from your mail server. I’m pretty sure that’s normal.

I am actually getting clients bringing this to my attention as an issue. I don’t think that it is email server/header issue.
It doesn’t happen like this in a standalone install of WP.
This is what one client sent me today – client received this email from her website contact form. Her site is a subdomain networked site under mydomain.ca…. it shouldn’t say from “mydomain.ca”, it should say from “clientdomain.com” as it does in a single site install…

That’s why I was asking where in the email you were seeing this.

Email headers can’t be helped (like the stuff most mail apps hide from you).

But the FROM address… Is it saying mydomain.ca or subdomain.mydomain.ca?

it is saying mydomain.ca, not their subdomain…

Checking on Grunion, mine shows
