Troubles signing in via WordPress App

I downloaded the WordPress App this morning so I could edit by blog on my iPad while i am travelling. It will not let me sign in. I put in my correct user name and password and each time it says ‘sign in failed’

The fact that I am now writing this on the forum indicates that I know my correct user name/password combination.

Is anyone else having these troubles with this App?

The only reason I got the APP was that for some weird reason, as of this morning, I can no longer edit my blog on my iPad by going through the usual means of Safari and signing in as the administrator; I can bring up the dashboard all right and tap in to edit mode but when I do it shows nothing in the box and gives a word count of Zero – although the post I wanted to edit is there big as life on the screen

Very weird

Is anyone else having these weird things while using an iPad2?
