How can I assign a post to a parent page using WP 3 Menus?
-
Obviously when you write a new post there isn’t a drop down menu in the admin post page to select a parent, unlike when you create a new page. Is there a plugin that will allow me to assign articles to a parent page?
For example, I have a page called ‘Work’ with static content on. My theme is setup to add a new piece of work using Posts and not pages. Using the new Menus option in WordPress v3 I would like to assign each new piece of work to sit under the ‘Work’ parent. How can I do this?
For reference, I don’t want all work posts to be displayed in the navigation is any form, I just want the children of the ‘Work’ page to be a bunch of posts. I’d also just like to have my “.current-menu-item a” styles to be applied to the ‘Work’ link when viewing a work post.
I hope that makes sense ??
