http 404 error after installing buddypress

  • Hi all,
    I installed the buddypress plugin and my wesbite went haywire. I uninstalled buddypress and now I can only access front page and all other pages now say http 404 error.

    After trying all advice on the net including changing permalinks etc… it just gets worse.

    I think it is a permalink problem but when I try and change the permalinks back to default, I then cannot even get the front page up.

    Your help would be REALLY appreciated ??
