AHH Cannot edit TwentyTen the Way I Want To!

    I’m somewhat new to WordPress, so apologies for not knowing the basics :/

    I am trying to fully customize TwentyTen to my liking (or, a childtheme). So far, I’ve moved the sidebar from right of the content, to left, and also changed up the header (including removing the menu).

    Now, I have my site’s logo above the left sidebar, and all the content (blog posts) is to the right. However, the blog posts start about 300 px down the page. I’d like them to be flush with the top of the page.

    Nothing is activated yet but all my files are located:
