Child theme not referencing images from parent

  • HI,

    It looks like child theme is not referencing any of the images from my parent theme. I noticed this first then a question mark was showing up instead of the referenced comment arrow. Then I noticed that the magnifying glass is missing from the search bar. Oddly it doesn’t show a question mark.

    Here is the code for the header of my child theme:

    I realized that I needed to change the url of the referenced images to:

    (../twentyeleven/images/comment-arrow-bypostauthor.png)

    Adding the ../ made the difference.
