When people register no e-mails is sent?

  • One of my few(LOL!) viewers pointed this out to me. When you sign/register up for an account the e-mail is not sent. The account is created but not e-mail sent. I tested this myself and have confirmed this. Can anyone tell me where I might look to solve this? If you’d like to test visit the site in my profile.

    I am running on the latest version of WordPress and using a highly modified version of Landzilla.

  • Is the mailserver running? Can you send other mail from the host?

    I’m pretty sure that I can but let me test it and see. Should I be looking for the sendmail path or anything like that?

    Just tested this, through webmail, and I was able to receive the message into my gmail account. Perhaps a wrong path or something in WordPress?

    Are you sure it’s the same mailhost? Do you have access to the mailserver logs?

    99.9% sure it’s the same host. It’s running on a different port, but it’s the same host.
