Multiple posts per page settings depending on post format

  • I’d like to only have 2 standard posts to show per page, but more link type posts.

    Multiple posts per page settings depending on post format. Is this possible? How would I go about doing that.

    Such as 

    Standard post 1
Link Post 1
Link Post 2
Standard post 2
Link Post 3

    But not more than 2 Standard posts, so changing the normal posts per page setting is out of the question.
    This means that page 2 could perhaps only have 2 standard posts and nothing more.

    Combine 2 wp_queries, how would I do that the best way?
