[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] WordPress MU Issue

I am using the latest version of WP MU with the Latest Version of NextGEN

I am unable to get the images to display on the admin panel or on the web pages.
I am using domain re-mapping to remap my domains.

I have the following re-write in my .httaccess file

RewriteRule ^files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$1 [L]

when I upload files it appears to work without issue and the files show up on the server however I am unable to view the images

My Links look like this:
https://website.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/gallery/image.jpg

I believe the links should look like this:

https://website.com/files/gallery/image.jpg

without the wp-content/blogs.dir/1/

When I remove this from the link I can access the image however if I try to load the image with the first link it does not work.

I believe I need to re-write my .httaccess file but I’m not sure what to use that will work.

Thanks for any help in the matter as I need to get the gallery up and running asap!
