[Plugin: WP Calendar] Events disappear too early

My events have been disappearing significantly before they occur. Perhaps it is a time zone issue? I am in Toronto, so I was wondering if they disappear based on UTC time.
In fact, I think it would be best if events continue to be displayed until they are over (and even maybe until the end of that day)
