login issue

  • When I try to login to WordPress to manage my site, the screen just resets to a blank password. This happens in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. Yes, I am using a Mac mini. I have made no changes as far as installs or updates to the site. Is anyone else having this problem? If I use an incorrect password, it will give me the correct invalid password response. It is also not a cookie problem either. Please help!

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.
