How to add hyperlink to outside website in body text of post in TwentyEleven

    I’m new to wordpress. I want to put a hyperlink to someone else’s website at the end of the text of one of my posts in TwentyEleven.

    I see the ‘Insert/edit link(Alt+Shift+A)’ tab in the row of formatting icons at the top of the edit page of the post, but when I click on it, nothing happens. Left click, double click, right click – no text box.

    Help would be appreciated – I did search but found nothing. Thanks

    Update: I’ve found the answer to my question. For anyone who wants an answer to this question, watch this video tutorial:

    Thanks, carolm. I’m new to WP and was having the same problem – the video tutorial was just what i needed. Little did I know the only thing I wasn’t doing was highlighting the relevant text before clicking on the link icon!
