[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] nextgen gallery slideshow widget

Am having trouble adding the nextgen gallery slideshow on a sidebar widget. When i drag it to the widget and choose a gallery, only the loading gif and the title appear on the site. What could i be doing wrong?
