Images not showing on the front page

  • Hi

    It seems that images (except thumbnails) will not show up on the front page, I have been trying to solve this problem for hours. Can you help?

    I think it has something to do with auto excerpts.

  • What is it supposed to look like? The home page looks the same as any other page. A bunch of ads.

    click on the first blog post you will see a bit of text and a coupon code, you don’t see this on the front page but you can after you click on the title of the post.

    Thanks for the clarification, but I’m going to have let someone answer this one (because I don’t know the answer), and I’m sure your clarification will help them, too.

    I am VERY new to building websites and to Word Press … so I am hoping that I just missed something obvious … I have been unable to have a featured image appear on my Home page even though the image showed up when I preview the page. When I went to “visit site”, the image is not there. I am using the Twenty Eleven theme, if that makes any difference. I also have not figured out how to link back to my Home page (from other pages within the site) since the Home page is not listed as one of the internal links available … Thanks in advance for any help!!!!
