[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] WordPress SEO FB Open Graph Issue

  • Hi everyone – I’ve got the Open Graph settings configured for wordpress SEO, but I keep getting errors that cause the thumbnail not to show. Here are the errors I received this time:

    Error Scraping Page: Bad Response Code

    Missing Required Property: The og:url property is required, but not present.

    Inferred Property: The og:url property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

    I’m not sure why I’m getting this or what I need to do to fix it, but as far as I can tell, I’ve got everything set up correctly in the social section of WordPress SEO. Sometimes the thumbnail will pop up on a link I post to a facebook page after 5 minutes or so. It’s strange.

    Any thoughts?
