• Hello,

    Can someone please tell me,

1.) Which css line controls the Navbar/Menu font colour size etc?

2.) Which css line controls the Navbar/ Menu font colour for when a page is selected, it seems to highlight or bold and I would like to control this if possible.

3.) Menu colour, for apperance and hover.

    In theme Twenty Eleven.

Thanks for your help and patience.

  • Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. Create a child theme for your changes. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.

Also try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.

Ok I shall download firebug Thanks.
I have delayed making a child theme as that link says you need to create a CSS file but it doesnt tell you how this is done. I’m in my file manager, through my provider, how do I create this and save it to the file path?
    Thanks Newbie…

You need to create the style.css file in a plain text editor, place in a folder and upload the whole folder to wp-content/themes.
