• logged on to my site today, the WPTouch Pro plugin needed to be updated, so I updated it.
The site ‘crashed’ kind of. The typical ‘site is down for maintenance’ message displayed, but for about 20 minutes. And then nothing would load. for about 10 minutes. Then the site came back, I logged in again and this massage was at the top “An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.”
Also, the WPTouch Pro settings is gone from the admin panel. So I went to re-upload the plugin and get this message
    “Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. /home/content/91/8496991/html/knoxandcook/wp-content/plugins/wptouch-pro/

    Plugin install failed.”

So, my solution is to go clear out the plugin via FTP and reinstall in wordpress, however I was wondering if there was a file I could copy and replace after this that would have all of my settings go back to what they were before I tried the update?
