• Version 3.04.4
I can’t tell what the plugin will do if I choose Recurring billing. I am using PayPal for payment. I have recurring customers but nothing is set up recurring at PayPal. Do I have to do something there to use it in the plugin? I can’t use the Send Automatically option because I need the email customized to that invoice (1st quarter, 2nd quarter, or January, February, etc.)

I am also confused about the Due Date. How do I display it on the invoice page and how do I set it if it is not recurring? It would be nice to have an option to default the due date to a number of days.

Why have two places for support? Please answer my question so other potential users can see the answer here, without having to go to yet another site to search for it.

Well, I can’t post manuals here. I just thought, that looking into them will fix your issue. We have more then 500 visitors of our support forums
per day. There are a lot of experienced users, that could help you better then I…
For example, we have an option to default the due date to a number of days. But I just can’t insert an illustration here.

You could put links to the help pages in your plugin.
I read through them and my questions were not answered.
And you might consider that having a lot of traffic to your support forum is a good thing, but I don’t. They shouldn’t need that much support!

Links to our site are inserted in plugin. I think, every user needs support. At least to read manual before using any plugin. People often read support forums to find some new ideas or to help others.

    Hi Denys,

I reviewed those help pages but wasn’t able to find the answer to Joy’s question either. It seems like there would be an existing function to print the due date on the wp-invoice template, no?

We’re going to implement PayPal Recurring billing function. We’re very needed in your opinion on our Feedback site to do it sooner.

I just voted 3 votes for that feature Deny. Was that what you’re asking we do?

I didn’t see a response to our question about listing the due date for an invoice/recurring item though.

You can write due date in email, you’re sending with invoice link. Or do you want it to be displayed on invoice page too?

Yeah I need to display it on the invoice page so when clients get recurring invoices they know what month it’s for.

Ok, we’ll implement it on one of next releases. Again, if you want to accelerate that, you’d better use our Feedback site.

Great to know. I’ll be sure to add that to the site, I wasn’t clear whether or not that existed. If I write a patch can I submit it via GitHub or something to help you guys get that feature incorporated?

I think, you’d better use our Support forum for that. Thank you for trying to improve WP-Invoice.

Okay thank you for the responses!

So let me be sure I understand this.. The UI of this plugin gives one the impression that recurring billing will work with PayPal, but in reality, recurring billing for PayPal is NOT supported by your plugin at this time??? Do I understand this correctly???

You guys are working on adding this feature?? What is the estimated release date for this feature to begin to be a part of this plugin???
