Login problem on IE

  • Hi,

    I have WP installed but cannot login from one of my XP machines from IE. the other is fine.

    The redirect URL changes to …./wp-login.php?redirect_to=%2Fwp-admin%2F wheras on the machine that works this is …./wp-login.php?redirect_to=/wp-admin/

    On the machine where it does not work, Firefox is OK.

    Can anyone help?

    saying that does not help much… the login problem with IE happened to me when I uploaded WordPress from local to remote server. Is it related? I am not sure about that. I am surprised that it works fine with FF instead. AND I don’t think it’s a matter of cookies. What do u think?

    Maybe, maybe not. Probably is cookie related if it works in FF. Can’t hurt to clear your cookies and give it another whirl.

    Hey, I’m having this exact same problem. IE doesn’t work correctly, but FireFox does. I’ve tried clearing my cookies, etc. I’ve checked my databse “siteurl” and “home” values, and they are fine. I’ve been looking all over, and I’ve found plenty of threads about this, but few solutions.

    I’m using WP 1.5.1.3

    Oh, and I’ve tried disabling my firewall and accepting all cookies. No joy…
