i want to remove start p and end /p tag.

  • hi.
    i have problem with [auto p] tag.
    when i use hack like this i can write post the way i like. ( i can use hx, div,etc tag.)
    but when i use following code
    <?php the_content(); ?>
    and use hx, div,,tag in the post and it’s not valid.

    but! when use hack i can’t use !– more — tag, and write html [code] in the post.

    i hope that post will view without start p, and end /p tag that auto wrap content. so i mean that i'd like to ues auto p tag in post except stat n end [p]tag.

  • wpautop does not normally add a starting and ending <p>, but rather it should be placing the first line in a <p> element, as well as for every other “paragraph” line, including the last. I use any number of html elements in my posts, including <div>, without error. Keep in mind that, especially for block elements (such as <div> and <hX>), it’s important to place these on their own line so wpautop can “filter” them out.

    If you need to manage by post the use of a text formatting function like wpautop, look at a plugin like TextControl:
